Our local. Attend the monthly quiz night where a group of us all eat before the quiz. Gets very busy. Food choice is fairly limited but all options are usually excellent. On normal day or evening visits, like most pubs, amount of people there varies. Had a few Sunday lunches which also are very good.

Christmas Dinner at its finest! Fabulous meal and atmosphere. My husband had as a starter smoked salmon terrine. A palette cleansing sorbet. As a mains, a 28-day beef sirloin and for dessert, a cheese board. I had as my starter Venison. A palette cleansing sorbet. As my mains a turkey, Christmas Dinner and for dessert, lemon pavlova. We ended our meal with coffee and truffles! If you don't want the fuss of cooking or cleaning up afterwards at Christmas, I would suggest visiting here. It was expensive but worth every penny!

We visited to exchange for my husband’s birthday, service was very attentive, my husband even received a birthday card which made it extra special, glad we chose to dine in the exchange, the food was at a high standard and portion sizes was very generous we all left stuffed. Very happy family thank you we will be returning soon.

It was nice here, they have an accessible entrance and toilet although the lights were too dimm, could have done with the second light bulb or the option to turn them on/off. Update: the lights have been changed in the accessible toilet making it so much better to see. The staff were friendly, they had a nice seating area - but it was full. Also they do have a restaurant there on the raised area - but with a step access. My visit was short, but I'd definitely recommend it and go back again. Thank you
